The DIRTY DUO is a unique biking and running event! Teams of two alternate running and biking for up to 6 miles, changing disciplines at each mile marker after completing a fun obstacle. LOCATION:  The DIRTY DUO will take place at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, KS. The Kansas Speedway is only 15 minutes from downtown Kansas City. The Kansas Speedway is a great venue for this event which will allow for plenty of room for parking and also more of a festival atmosphere after the race. DATES & TIMES:  The DIRTY DUO will start at 8AM on Saturday, June 25th, 2011. The race will be followed by the DIRTY DUO JR at 10:30AM. The Awards Ceremony and Festival will take place after the Dirty Duo JR.

DIVISIONS:  Teams of two only!! Categories are: All-female, All-male, Co-ed, Masters, Parent/Kid, and Clydesdale.

** ALL DIVISIONS ARE BASED ON THE COMBINED AGE AND COMBINED GENDER OF THE TWO RACERS (with the exception of the Clydesdale and Parent / Kid divisions).

ENTRY FEES:  Your entry fee includes a nice Dirty Duo race shirt, goody bag, prizes, post-race food and drinks and a fantastic time getting muddy!

  Early Bird Registration (until 11:59PM CT on 04/22/2011): $55/racer ($110/team)
  Regular Registration (until 11:59PM CT on 05/20/2011): $65/racer ($130/team)
  Late Registration (after 05/20/2011): $75/racer ($150/team)

* On-line registration closes at 11:59PM CT on June 21st.
* There will be no race day registrations.

PRIZES:  There will be prizes for the overall winners as well as prizes for the winners of each division! There will also be a prize awarded to the team with the best costume, so get creative!!! The costume contest will be judged by a separate panel of judges located throughout the race course. The best costume prize will be one of the best prizes given away!

POST-RACE FESTIVAL:  There will be a post-race awards ceremony and festival after the race. The post-race festival will include music, food and plenty of cold drinks! With the move to Kansas Speedway, we are able to have a more festive atmosphere after the race, so plan on sticking around and having fun with the other Dirty Duo racers!

PACKET PICK-UP & CHECK-IN:  Packet pick-up and racer check-in will be available on the Friday before the race at Dynamic Earth Equipment Co. from 4PM until 9PM. Dynamic Earth's address is 13308 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66213. There is a map below that will show you the location of this packet pickup. If you have any questions on how to get there, please call the Dynamic Earth store at (913)851-2244. Packet pick-up and racer check-in will also be available at the Kansas Speedway on Saturday morning before the race from 6:30AM to 7:30AM. ALL participants MUST check-in together and sign a waiver in order to receive your race shirt, race numbers, timing chips and racer bags! We recommend that you check in on Friday if possible since the check-in lines may be long on Saturday morning!
